Return Policy
We are committed to helping you find the perfect light or ceiling fan for your space and understand that sometimes, products you purchase may not be a good fit for your home or project. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with a purchase, products in new condition that have not been installed, with original packaging, may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Please note that some conditions may apply and not all of our products are eligible for return. You should also fully inspect your order as soon as you receive it as no returns will be accepted after 30 days from delivery.
To initiate a return, please fill out our Return Merchandise Authorization Form by clicking on this link: RMA FORM. A return UPS or FedEx shipping label will be sent to you via e-mail within three (3) business days. This e-mail will also contain your RMA number and a Product Return Form. Please complete the Product Return Form, making sure to write your RMA number on this form and then pack the Product Return Form inside your boxed product. Affix the return shipping label to the outside of the box with clear packaging tape and take it to your nearest UPS of FedEx pick-up center. The cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your credit amount. In other words, you are responsible for the return shipping cost of any product you return. Also, any shipping charges paid on your original order are non-refundable.
Once the product has safely reached our warehouse and undergone inspection, we will issue a refund for the amount of the product and tax, less return shipping to the original method of payment used for your purchase. If you paid for your order with a check, you will receive a check made out to the same name under which the order was originally placed.
Required conditions for eligible returns:
- Products must be in original, new and uninstalled condition
- Products must include all original parts and manuals
- Products must be properly packaged in original factory carton(s) & packaging
- Returns must be initiated using our RMA FORM within 30 days from delivery
Products Not Eligible for Return:
- Returns made without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
- Products not in resalable condition or products missing the original packaging
- Any product that has been modified, installed, or used in any way, including cut, clipped or stripped wires
- Showroom display models, open box, and/or products on clearance
- Custom or made-to-order products
- Light bulbs, glass, parts, and shades
- Products not returned by the original customer with an attempted return by someone else
- Products not purchased from Stewart Lighting or Stewart Fans
No Restocking Fees
We do not charge restocking fees if your return meets our required conditions listed above. However, if your product is returned with missing parts and/or packaging or if it appears to have been installed with cut or stripped wires, we reserve the right to either refuse the return or charge you additional fees for damage. We will contact you with our decision and if you do not wish to accept our offer, we can return your product to you, provided that you pay for the shipping. Large orders, including single fixtures over $3,000 and orders totaling over $3,000 with multiple quantities of the same product are subject to a restocking fee.
Defective Products
Please fully inspect your product as soon as it’s delivered. It’s not common for products to arrive with a manufacturer’s defect and/or missing parts; however, if this should happen, please email us right away at info@stewartlighting.com so we can solve your issue as soon as possible with no cost to you. For some product issues, it may be more expedient and convenient for you to have us direct the manufacturer to ship replacement or missing parts directly to you. However, you would need to notify us within 7 days of delivery in order to guarantee the waiver of manufacturer shipping costs. Other product issues could require you to return your product to us or the manufacturer. In such cases, we would provide you with a return shipping label at no cost to you.
Damaged Products
Should your product by damaged in transit by the shipping company, we will do everything we can to resolve your issue as soon as possible. When products are shipped via UPS or FedEx, we must contact them within 48 hours to ensure a free-of-charge resolution. Therefore, you should inspect your product upon receipt and immediately call us at 904-880-8499 to report any damage. For larger items that are shipped via freight carrier, you must inspect the item on site, and mark any noticeable defects on the bill of lading. Once you do so, please email us right away at info@stewartlighting.com so we can file a claim with the carrier and expedite a replacement. Please note that photos are required to process most damage claims and we may be unable to process your request without photos. Take a digital photo of the damaged or defective item for your records and e-mail us a copy at info@stewartlighting.com
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel an order within 48-hours from the time your order was placed by calling us during business hours at 904-880-8499. Once an order has already shipped, (even if less than 48 hours), it cannot be rerouted, redirected, or cancelled. Should you wish to return the product, please follow the instructions outlined in our Return Policy and submit our RMA FORM. Do not refuse the delivery of non-damaged goods as this could result in costly restocking fees. A delivery refusal also increases the chance that your product could be lost by the shipping company. If a refused shipment were to result in the loss or damage of your product, any refunds would be subject to the shipping company’s refusal policy.
Warranty Policy
Stewart Lighting and Stewart Fans guarantee that our products shall be free of any defects that are due to faulty materials or workmanship for 30 days. If you receive a defective product that is repairable in the field, we will ship replacement parts to you at no extra charge. If we determine that your product’s defect is not repairable in the field, we will issue an RMA number and provide you with a return shipping label. After we receive your defective product, we will ship an identical replacement to you at no extra charge. Please note that light bulbs included with products are supplied by the manufacturer for “testing purposes only” and are not covered by any guarantee or warranty. After our 30-day warranty has expired, we advise you to contact the manufacturer for additional warranties. Therefore, please retain a copy of your sales receipt, as well as any warranty information provided by the manufacturer in the original packaging.
