Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA)

Also, section 934.60, Florida Statutes prohibits electronic communications providers from providing third parties with information that reveals the IP of users without the express permission of the subscriber or customer.

Covered entities, such as Florida corporations must report data breaches and FIPA also has a proactive component that imposes obligations on covered entities regardless of whether they suffer a breach or not.
